HOW MUCH EXPERIENCE DO YOU HAVE DRIVING IN THE SNOW?
You can see the flashes of red in front of you as brake light after brake light begins to light up. You take your foot off of your own accelerator and begin to press on your brakes as you anticipate the slowing traffic ahead. Instead of stopping, however, your vehicle begins to slide. Soon your back end is swaying to one side then to the other as you fall into a fishtail. Now the cars in front of you are coming closer and closer, but you don’t have any control. Your chest starts pounding as you realize how helpless you are. What do you do?
Many people who move to Rexburg find themselves in similar situations each year as the winter months set in. Everyone will sooner or later find themselves driving on icy roads. The only problem is that in my home town it has only heavily snowed once in the 15 years that I’ve lived there.
